  • An overwhelming majority (87%) of those surveyed linked crime and violence to illicit drug use and dealing. Two-thirds (67%) strongly agreed that these two were linked.
  • Only eight percent of all respondents felt that illicit drug use and dealing were not a major cause of crime and violence.
